Young Life Basketball Academy (YLBA) will participate in all three AAU seasons (outlined below) to develop, showcase, and expose players to elite competition. In addition, we strive to provide the best opportunities for our players to be seen by college coaches around the country. Our staff will select events that will challenge us and maximize our exposure in the basketball community.

Our selection of events for this timeframe will focus on activities that optimize our goals.
YLBA will strive to field 4 levels of competitive teams. Three (National, Regional, & Local) of the four teams will compete in events. Our teams will play at the same venue on numerous occasions but on different competitive levels. Teams from around the country will participate in these events within different divisions based on skill level.
The fourth team, which we call Skills Academy, will participate in practices and internal events to enhance their skills and overall IQ to become more effective and competitive players.
Skills Academy players, that wish to travel to events to assist coaches, will have the opportunity to assess the talent level of events and evaluate their own skill level, which is an invaluable experience to fuel their competitive nature.
Returning players are only required to register for the upcoming season. New players are required to go through an evaluation to assess their skill level for placement. Click here for upcoming evaluation sessions.
Our staff will continue to explore all avenues to find the premier venues that present the best & biggest challenges for our teams. These venues will provide the greatest opportunity for us to showcase our talent and get the most exposure for our players.
